 DIVISION DESCRIPTIONS

Division

                                                       Description

Recreational

This division is for teams or players that are new to the sport and have little experience playing slo-pitch. Teams should expect a FOR FUN only league. Teams in this division pitch to their own players.

Recreational Plus

This division is for teams or players that have played slo-pitch in the past. You will see organized plays, better hitting and better flow to the game. Teams in this division will pitch to their opponents.

Intermediate

This division is for teams or players that have more experience then those in Rec Plus. You will see skilled, organized plays, better hitting, catching and players who are overall more competent in all aspects of the game.

The above divisions are created based on skill level and not on competitive behaviour. All SSC players are expected to play with a ‘fun-first, winning second’ attitude. The SSC may move your team up or down a division based on seasonal results.
