ABOUT
THE SPORT
Ultimate is an exciting, fast moving game, which combines the best aspects
of football, soccer and basketball. It is a non-contact competitive team
sport that is distinguished by its spirit of the game (the principles of fair play, sportsmanship, and the joy of play). It
is easy to learn, fun to play and a great way to get fit! The ESSC offers
Recreational divisions. It’s a 5 on 5 game,
with a minimum of two females on the field at all times. Games are located
throughout the city and are played on City of Edmonton fields. Four teams
play at each field per night. All games have an Event Coordinator present
to help facilitate games, but all players are expected to call their own
fouls and manage the game. After your game, enjoy ESSC specials at one
of our many Sponsor Bars around Edmonton.

CAN PLAY?
Adults aged 18 and older can join the Ultimate Frisbee

The levels offered include Recreational. We welcome
full teams, small groups (5 to 8 players but not a full team), friends (2-4
